Hyundai Accent

The Hyundai Accent was sold as the Verna in some countries and the Excel in Australia. The Accent is a small car that is manufactured by Hyundai in South Korea, India, Russia, Pakistan, Turkey and Iran. The First generation Accent or the X3 replaced the Excel in 1995. The Accent came in three versions, the sedan, saloon and coupe and had a choice of two engines, a 1.3 liter and a 1.5 Liter. The Accent had GSi specifications and power windows in the front and a stereo system which could play cassettes or CDs.

The Second generation Accent made its debut 2000. The car length and width was increased and it came in two types. There was a hatchback with two doors that came in two versions, entry or GS and a sedan that came with four doors and one version, the GL. The vehicle derived its power from a 1.5 Liter engine having four cylinders and five manual gears. In 2001, the GS and GL versions got a 1.6 Liter engine and they added an automatic gear system of four gears. All versions came with power brakes. In 2002, air conditioning became standard on the GS and GL versions, while it was optional on the base version. In 2003, the front and back were restyled, while anti-lock brakes were made available.

In 2006, the third generation Hyundai Accent made its appearance on the roads. The Accent still came in the hatchback with two doors and a sedan with four doors. The former comes in two versions, GS and SE and the latter in the GLS version. The vehicle derives its power from a 1.6 Liter engine having four cylinders and has four manual gears or automatic gears.
