After Tesla and Fisker, another manufacturer named Liberty Electric Cars Ltd made the announcement that it will be investing 拢30 million to develop an electric drive-train platform that will be powering a wide range of large autos. This will be including a Range Rover (electrically powered) which will be costing between 拢95,000 and 拢125,000 that depending on specification and model.
The Liberty Range Rover unit will be able to be driven 200 miles (approximately) before needing the recharge plus according to the manufacturer this electric motor will be providing superior acceleration and the torque will be then available for all times.
Barry Shrier, the Liberty founder and CEO affirms: 鈥淭he Liberty Electric Range Rover takes electric vehicle technology into a new sector, to large luxury cars that people aspire to drive, particularly in cities and urban environments where environmental controls are becoming increasingly tighter.
