The CEO of Porsche, Wendelin Wiedeking, intends to discuss the partnership with Volkswagen which would work once the sports plus luxury car automaker now becomes a majority shareholder in Volkswagen, Germany's greatest auto manufacturer.
Porsche currently has almost 31 percent stake in Volkswagen — the greatest held by some single party — but it's still a minority holding, this thanks mainly to the controversial "VW Law".
"We are interested in the success of Volkswagen and also in the success of all brands within the company," affirmed the CEO in the Handelsblatt interview. "Once we have the majority, we will have the appropriate discussions on it."
