Maserati GT-C spyied

AutoBild caught testing in Germany the future GT-C model by Maserati (Gran Turismo Convertible). Powered by the V8 engine the upcoming GT-C will be joining the Gran Turismo line-up beginning 2009 (next to the GT S and the GT).

Built on exactly the same platform as the Gran Turismo Coupe unit, it will be folding soft top convertible, not a hardtop one as a few rumors suggested.

And under the hood you will find the same V8 4,2 liter engine as in the coupe variant that will produce 405 hp at 7,100 rpm and a top torque of 460 Nm – 4,750 rpm.
