Abarth will be debuting a special edition – the `500 Opening Edition` that's limited to only 100 units. The special edition`s fitted with the revised variant of the stock 1.4-liter turbo engine producing 160Hp at 5750 rpm and a top torque of 230 Nm at 3000 rpm. This engine is mated to the 5-speed gearbox.
So, the Abarth 500 Opening Edition is making the 0 to 60 mph sprint in only 7.4 sec hitting a maximum speed of 211 km/h (131mph).
It also has: front and rear perforated disc brakes, a special ‘powered by BMC’ air filter, high performance front brake pads, special low springs plus 17" alloys painted white or titanium complete having 205/40 R16 ZR 17 Pirelli Pzero Nero tires.
On the exterior this limited edition has a red brake calipers plus privacy windows. The buyers will now have the chance of choosing between two colors: Campovolo grey / pearlised White. Other features that are unique on the 500 Abarth Opening Edition model include a gray or white fuel cap plus key cover.
