Mopar revealed two Dodge Challenger Drag Race Package Cars this week-end at the 29th Annual Mopar Mile-High Nationals. The auto is based on the Challenger SRT8 model, but Mopar dropped about 1,000 lbs. off the Challenger SRT8 production by eliminating important production components plus systems.
Accentuating the weight saving, they feature also added composite, some polycarbonate plus lightweight pieces designed to drag the racing that now will be a part of the all-new program: Package Car.
