Mazda announced the prices in US for the Mazda6 2009. The all-new sports sedan model will be on sale in 2008, late August, at costing $18,550 for MAZDA6 i SV, that's equipped with 170-horsepower I-4 engine 2.5-liter plus a six-speed manual transmission. The pricing for the MAZDA6 s 2009, powered by a V6 273-horsepower, six-speed Sport AT with automatic transmission starts at $24,130.
Power for this MAZDA6 2009 will be now available from brand new Mazda-designed plus developed 170-horsepower MZR 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine plus a 273- horsepower V6 3.7-liter, as used on the CX-9 2008, Motor Trend鈥檚 Sport/Utility of the Year plus the North American Truck of the Year. The transmission choices are the six-speed manual or the five-speed Sport AT automatic having manual-shift mode (with 2.5-liter engine) or the six-speed automatic Sport AT having manual-shift mode (V6 3.7-liter). I-4 units equipped with Sport AT certified on ultra-clean SULEV level, plus PZEV on California-emission states. So, all V6 units meet the ULEV standards for every 50 states.
