The Nissan Titan was revealed to the public in 2004. It was launched as a full size pickup truck. The Nissan Titan came in two sizes, the four door extended cab and the four door crew cab; both were available in the XE, SE, and LE versions. The Cargo-bed length for the extended cab was 6.5 ft, and 5.5 feet for the crew cab. A 5.6-Liter V8 engine with 305 horsepower powered all three models. The XE version was equipped with a bench seat in the front, while the other two had bucket seats in the front. All models came equipped with a bench seat in the back that seated up to three people. The truck was available in two-wheel or four-wheel drive. In 2005, the crew cabs came equipped with power windows in the back. In 2007, the engine horsepower was increased to 317.
In 2008, the Nissan Titan will come in two body styles, the extended cab and crew cab. The former is available with either a 6.6-foot cargo bed or an 8-foot cargo bed while the latter is available with either a 5.6-foot cargo bed or a 7-foot bed. The Titan is available in four models; the XE, the SE, the Pro-4X and the LE. All four models are powered by a 5.6-Liter V8 engine with 317 horsepower and have a five speed automatic transmission. The XE version comes equipped with 18-inch tires, a bench seat in the front that is split, air-conditioning, a stereo system with a CD player and cruise control. The SE comes equipped with 18-inch tires, accessories that are fully powered, captain chairs in the front, leather seats, a CD changer located in the dashboard and power-heated mirrors and an overhead console. The Pro-4X comes equipped with Rancho shocks absorbers, heavy-duty skid plates and all terrain tires. The LE comes equipped with 20 inch tires, a spray factory-applied bed liner, specialized cargo tie-down tracks, a system to assist the driver with parking, adjustable powered front seats, Bluetooth connectivity, a stereo system manufactured by Rockford Fosgate and power adjustable pedals.
