The 2007 Audi S4, the newest version of the performance car that debuted in 2004, comes in three different body styles - the sedan, the Avant wagon, and the Cabriolet convertible - all of which come with specially designed 18-inch wheels, and standard sunroofs (on the sedan and wagon).

All versions of the S4 have 340 horsepower, 252 cubic inch V8 engines, and all three body styles also come with Audi's version of all-wheel drive, which they've named "Quattro." In addition, drivers can choose between a six-speed manual transmission, or a six-speed automatic transmission with Audi's "Tiptronic" technology allowing the option to manually shift gears. All the S4's also come with traction control for more stability, and since all models have high amounts of aluminum in their suspensions, the overall mass of these cars is lower than one might expect.

Inside the car is Audi's customary dark interior, though the cow-hide front seats are adjustable in 12 different ways (all powered), and were designed by Recaro, the company known for race car seating. All S4's are Bluetooth-enabled, and pre-wired for satellite radio, and navigational systems, Bose stereo systems, and heating for those afore-mentioned seats are optional upgrades.

Both the sedan and the Avant offer seating for a total of five people, with seats for four in the Cabriolet. All have anti-lock brakes and airbag protection for the driver and front passenger (front and side), while backseat side-impact airbags are only available as an upgrade. In addition, the Cabriolet includes an active rollover protection system which deploys metal hoops behind the rear seats in the event of an emergency.

Starting MSRPs for the 2007 Audi S4 cars range from $47,500 to $55,700, depending on the body style.
